SALAM began in 2019 following the Christchurch mosque attacks. The project grew from a practical question: how can communities organize themselves to prevent harm and respond before help arrives?
Our work spans mosques, schools, churches, temples, charities and community spaces. The foundation’s three divisions bring emergency management, community safety and legal-policy education into one coordinated service approach.
