Partner-delivered service

Drone Security Solutions

Add aerial situational awareness to an assessed security plan, with specialist equipment, operating procedures and trained personnel.

A coordinated service through approved vendors.

Drone Security Solutions are provided through approved vendors. SALAM helps identify the site’s safety priorities and coordinate the service scope; the approved vendor provides the specialist drone system and agreed operational support.

The service is planned around your premises, risk assessment, privacy requirements and permitted flight operations. It supports existing security teams and emergency procedures.

What a scoped solution can include

System design

Aircraft and docking infrastructure

Suitable enterprise aircraft, a compatible dock, site installation planning and supporting power and communications requirements.

Situational awareness

Camera and thermal observation

Views of perimeter areas, arrival routes and selected operational zones, with agreed access and retention controls.

Configured operation

Patrol planning and software

Route programming, software configuration and scheduled or automated missions where the operating scope permits them.

Team readiness

Pilot and operator training

Training appropriate to the aircraft, operational responsibilities and applicable certification pathway.

Support

Managed operation

Agreed monitoring, operational support, maintenance coordination and reporting under a separately defined service arrangement.

Optional integration

Detection and alert workflows

Compatible video analytics or firearm-detection integrations may be assessed separately. Alerts require a defined verification and response process; detection performance is system- and site-dependent.

Assessment comes before deployment

  1. Review the purpose and site

Define the intended safety use, observation areas and operational needs.

  2. Confirm feasibility

The approved vendor reviews airspace, aircraft capability, site permissions, privacy and applicable operational requirements.

  3. Agree the scope and costs

Separate hardware, installation, integration, software, training and managed-operation charges in the quotation.

  4. Confirm funding and approvals

Establish payment arrangements, contracts and the required operating permissions before installation or flight scheduling.

Automated or dock-based operation does not remove the need for the appropriate personnel, permissions and operating procedures. Availability and permitted flight profiles depend on the location and proposed operation.

Funding eligibility is assessed separately. A drone system or software subscription is not automatically an eligible grant expense.
